Dennis Hatch cruised to a relatively easy tournament win at the Joss NE 9-Ball Tour stop at Adirondack Billiards in Glens Falls, NY.
Hatch made his way to the hot-seat match without allowing an opponent to get more than 5 games against him. The match for the hot-seat was no different as Hatch defeated Mike Zuglan 9-3.
On the one-loss side, Zuglan looked poised to earn the rematch with Hatch as he jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead against Teddy Garrahan. Zulgan extended that lead to 8-2 before Garrahan mounted a comeback. A couple missed opportunites for Zuglan and a couple great run-outs by Garrahan were all it took for Garrahan to comeback and win the match 9-8.
As good as Garrahan played to get to the finals, it was still not enough to get by Hatch in the finals. Hatch took command early and took a 9-2 win in the finals.
