March 8 in San Angelo Texas saw 12 ladies from the region show up to compete at the Fast Eddies Olhausen 9 Ball Tour event.
The numbers were somewhat down, but, spirits were high and the ladies do have fun doing what they do.
Finishing in the 3rd place position was Cheyna Wigley of Odessa. She has fun at each event and continues to improve with each outing. Cheyna took home $60.00 for a nice days work.
The hot seat match was between Christina De La Garza of Austin and Michelle Abernathy also of the Austin area. Both were determined and playing heard for the honor with Christina coming out on top. Christina continues to work diligently n her game and it shows. Michelle has worked tirelessly for the past several games and shown vast improvement as well.
Today was Christina's day though as she bested Michelle and sent her over to play Cheyna for the opportunity to come back to the final table to avenge her loss against Christina.
Michelle handed Cheyna her final loss and returned to the finals only to have caught Christina very focused to handle the task.
Christina played very well handling Michelle by a score of 7-3 and capturing the win. Both played well and had a fun day.
Michelle took home $120.00 for a fine day while Christina pocketed $220.00 for her first win on the tour. Congratulations to Christina, Michelle, and Cheyna on a fine job and for having so much fun.
