Professional player Evan Broxmeyer has decided to take a gamble that is quite different from the pool world - marriage. Broxmeyer and long time friend and girlfriend have decided to tie the knot on June 6, 2009.
His lovely Columbian fiancé Patricia Patino, whom he has known for approximately thirteen years, said yes when Broxmeyer asked the all-important question and made the engagement official on July 24, 2008. Both Patino and her eight year old son Christopher will be a welcomed addition to the Broxmeyer family.
The wedding is scheduled to be held at Baiting Hollow Wine Vineyard. Afterwards, the couple plan to travel to St. Martin for their honeymoon to begin their journey into wedded bliss together.
Broxmeyer, known in the billiard industry as “The Running Man”, most recently attended the inaugural Allen Hopkins $1 Million Dollar Shootout and finished 5th-12th, but readily admits that he has not been playing much in the past year or so. With that said, after the wedding, he plans to take some time off (approximately three years) to focus on his family and work toward building it. In addition, he will continue to work at his father's company, Fairfield Properties, where he has for approximately ten years.
