Dr. Michael Fedak, the generous philanthropist of the 2008 World 14.1 Championship, will be contributing even more money to promote straight pool by sponsoring another $2000 to the New York City Qualifier being held at Amsterdam Billiard Club on July 19,2008. Dr.Fedak's sole motivation was to stir more interest from everyday players including non-professionals to take a shot at the qualifier as well as a shot at the World Championship to be held at The Hilton East Brunswick, NJ.
