The thirty-sixth stop on the 2008/2009 Pechauer All American Tour (produced by the American CueSports Alliance – ACS) was hosted at Bulldog Billiards in Dubuque, IA, on Saturday, February 21. The $500 added event drew twenty-four players in a double-elimination 8-ball format on 7-foot bar boxes. Ron Pluym (Dubuque, IA) ran undefeated to the finals. In the A-side finals, master player Pluym (rated a “5” on a regional handicap system used) clipped elite player Ryan Behnke [7] (Farley, IA) 5-3. Earlier in the A-bracket semi-finals, Pluym dominated Milt Eichman [4] (Dubuque, IA) 5-1, while Behnke easily outpointed Nick Allendorf [4] (Cedar Rapids, IA) by a 7-2 margin. In the B-side bracket Milt Eichman (Dubuque, IA) ousted Don Boll [4] (Dubuque, IA) on the hill at 5th place 4-3, while Adam Behnke [7] (Farley, IA) edged Nick Allendorf (Dubuque, IA) on the hill as well at the same placement 7-3. Behnke then eliminated Eichman at 4th place, 7-2. In the B-side finals, Adam Behnke stopped his brother Ryan's march at 3rd place – 7-5! The tournament finals went to two sets, as once-defeated Adam Behnke took down Ron Pluym in both sets – claiming the title by 7-4, 7-3 margins!
