Amanda Lampert wins her first Houston open in fashion. After playing in the Houston Open many times and always finishing in the top five, she came to win! Congratulations go out to her for this impressive win adding to a great year.
Amanda did not allow anyone past two games except Kim Pierce who also had a great event finishing second for her best finish at the Houston Open. Kim has been playing hard and after her second round loss to Amanda 7-4 she went through the rest of the field for a second chance at Amanda. However Amanda would not be stopped as she won the last set 7-1 for the title!
