Regular tournament play is complete for Saturday at the Big Orange Classic II at Breakers Billiards in Knoxville, TN and the field of 64 players has been narrowed to sixteen players. Shawn Putnam is the top seed still unbeaten on the right side of the board, while Brian Butler, Jonathan Hennessee and Corey Deuel are amongst the players still fighting it out on the one-loss side. Players already eliminated include BJ Ussery, Shannon Daulton, Ronnie Wiseman, Tony Watson and Cliff Joyner who was in attendance for the bracket draw on Friday but was no where to be found on Saturday.
A seven man, winner take all, 10-ball tournament took place late Saturday night with Jonathan Hennessee, Scott Hafley, Shannon Daulton, Shawn Putnam, Corey Deuel, BJ Ussery and Tony Watson tossing their $500 into the pot. As of our last report, Deuel was facing Daulton in the finals.
