The Taguig Stallions and the Manila MSW Mavericks begin their upcoming championship week, scheduled for December 16-20, 2024 with the Chino Trinidad trophy on the line.
“In honor to Chino Trinidad, our inaugural season of Sharks Billiards Association (SBA) commissioner with the Chino Trinidad trophy on the line,” said Hadley Mariano, chief executive officer and founder of Sharks Billiards Association (SBA), the first-ever professional league in the country, and perhaps in the world during a live press conference Saturday night held at the Sharks Arena & Sports Bar in Tomas Morato, Quezon City.
“Fans can watch the intense pool action live for free at the Sharks Arena & Sports Bar in Tomas Morato, Quezon City,” added Hadley, son of long-time billiard sports patron/businessman Perry Mariano.
Taguig Stallions is composed of Rodrigo “Edgie” Geronimo, Michael “K9” Quinay, Bryant “Bryant Urdaneta” Saguiped, Marc Ejay “Emong” Cunanan and Demosthenes “Plong-Plong” Pulpul.
The Manila MSW Mavericks, on the other hand will be bannered by Baseth “Kingpin” Mocaibat, Jonas “Silent Killer” Magpantay, Drahcir “Tisoy” Mauricio, Tristan “Tining” Deocareza and John Albert “Dokloy” Refulle.
Two teams who failed to made it to the finals are Negros Occidental Pillars led by Oliver “Batman” Villafuerte, Albert “The Black Carabao” Espinola, Ryan Mark “The Black Eagle” Hidalgo, Jolo “The Thunder” Aspuria and Jonald “Balbon” Galve and the Quezon City Dragons of Jerico “Panday” Banares, Dean Mark “Run DMC” Castronuevo, John Limuel “Rambo” Rebong, Alexis “Damang” Ferrer and Romiel “Romayl Bacolod” Morta.
