All roads lead to Quezon City when it stages the 3rd Philippine Junior
Pool Championship at the Star Billiards Center, no.46 Joy Street in
Grace Village, Quezon City.
Up for grabs, aside from the national title and the top prize money of
P50,000, are slots to this year's World Ten Ball Championship slated
this year. The four-day (July 8-11) event is hosted by long-time
billiards patron and BSCP president Sebastian “Baste” Chua, local
distributor of Brunswick billiards tables.
The event will be a 10-ball format in a bid to bring out the best in the young cue artists, said tournament director Sol Gueco.

Reno World Junior quarter-finalist Jonas Magpantay, a freshman pupil of
Ponciano Bernardo Highschool in Cubao heads the cast in this annual
tournament. "I've been working hard for the Philippine Junior," said
Magpantay, as part of his training/preparation in the RP Junior of
Pool is playing in the forthcoming 1st PAGCOR-Kabayan Bilyar-aralan
9-Ball Challenge beginning on June 19 at the Yes Billiards Hall
(University belt) in Recto, Manila.
The tournament is open to all billiards enthusiasts 19 years old and
