The Space City Open will premiere at Bogies Billiards & Sports Bar in Houston, Texas on December 7th-9th, 2012. Presented by Bogies, the Lone Star Billiards Tour, and the APA of North Harris County, this event will be $5,000 added and include Open One Pocket, Open 9-Ball, and a Ladies Open 9-Ball Bar Box event.  The Space City Open is geared towards being one of the most popular events statewide, with a plethora of sponsorships including KCPool NPoker.com and an OB Cues Pro Clinic on December 7th featuring U.S. Open Champion, Corey Deuel. The official rack of the SCO is Delta-13 Rack and the official magazine, Inside Pool Magazine. Tournament action will be broadcasted live at OnSitePool.com/KCPoolNPoker, compliments of Don Hickson, Kansas City, Missouri. 

With Pro Player Deuel in attendance, presenters are certain other pros will follow suit. The steeper entry fees plus $5,000 in added money are sure to attract players, fans, and enthusiasts alike.  And Bogies is ready for the crowd, with 12,000 square feet featuring 31 tables, diamond lights, and bleacher seating. For superb play, all tournament tables will be recovered in Simonis 860, each garnished with a measle cue ball and set of centennial balls.

Inside and outside industry businesses are taking advantage of the affordable 3-day rates for booth and banner spaces.  Joe Salazar, the Connoisseur of fine cues, will be in attendance along with an official APA Merchandise booth, Poison & Predator booth, cue repair, clothing, and much more.  Bogies is converting its almost 2,000 square foot poker room into additional retail space which will double as a players’ break room. This additional space is all inclusive, with a full bar, flat screen TV’s, steel darts, and its own set of restrooms.
