$1500/$500 Added Al Conte Memorial in Utica Nov 3-4

This weekend, Nov 3 & 4, the Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour will be at Hippo's House Of Billiards in Utica NY for the 4rd annual "Al Conte Memorial" 9-ball open. Al Conte was one of our sports most famous and knowledgeable pool table mechanics. So good was Al that even Brunswick would consult with him regarding improvements to their famous line of Gold Crown pool tables. But above all of that, Al was one of our sports most well liked and respected people. He was a friend to everyone who came to know him. He will always be dearly missed by all of us! The Conte family deserves our thanks for hosting what promises to be another great event in memory of "Big Al". Why not come and be a part of it!
 
Hippo's has always been one of upstate New York's premier rooms. They have everything from great equipment, home made food specials and beer and wine if you so choose. You could even win a $1,000+ custom engraved Joss cue by participating in Hippo's cue raffle. Anyone can participate in the cue raffle and you do not have to be present to win! This event at Hippo's will consist of a $1500 added Saturday and Sunday Main Event (entry Fee $120 for pro level or $70 for non pro level) and a $500 added consolation event on Sunday ($20 Entry Fee) for those non pro level players eliminated from the main event on Saturday. Both events will run simultaneously on Sunday until completion.
 
For those of you coming to play, please arrive on Saturday November 3 before noon in proper dress of, no T-shirts, shorts or sweat clothes please. Jeans, sneakers and a shirt with a collar works just fine at all of our billiard parlor events! If coming to watch, play will begin at about 1pm Saturday and noon, or earlier on Sunday.

Our $25,000 Added Turning Stone Classic XX 9-Ball Open will take place on January 10-13, 2013. I am currently accepting entries for this great event and it is filling fast to its 128 player capacity. Entry fees are only $150 for current 2012-2013 season tour members or only $200 for all others. If you would like to compete in this great event I strongly suggest you enter early! I can be reached at 518-356-7163 or you may pay me your entry fee in person at any of our Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour events until the event is full. FYI, the event is well over half full already!!!!!!!
