The USPPA Pro Am Event kicked off on Friday, December 5th with 150 players at The Sands Regency Hotel and Casino in Reno Nevada. This yearly event features players who have qualified through the USPPA League system competing.
The tournament is handicapped using the USPPA ratings system which allows players of various skill levels to compete with each other. Top rated players in the event include Rafael Martinez, Danny Petralba, Austin Murphy, Brian Law, Mary Rakin and Brian Law.
