This year will mark the 10th anniversary of the $5000 added Limestone City Open 9 Ball, which will be held on February 5/6, 2005 at Raxx Bar and Grill, 605 Development Dr., in Kingston, Ontario. The format is a race to 11 on the A side and a race to 9 on the B side. Registration deadline is at 12:00 pm on Saturday, with the Calcutta and Players Meeting to follow shortly thereafter. The entry fee is $125 Canadian and a dress code is in effect (dress shoes and slacks, collared shirt on Saturday and a long sleeved dress shirt and tie is required on Sunday.)
Past winners and regular participants include 2005 World 9 Ball Champion Alex Pagulayan, former World Snooker Champion Cliff Thorburn, Chris Orme, Jeff White, Luc Salvas, Alain Martel, Ronnie Wiseman, Larry Nevel, Danny Hewitt, Paul Thornley and Claude Bernatchez, just to name a few.
