Mike Howerton
Mike created AzBilliards in 1998 as a way to combine his love for billiards and the internet. While Mike originally intended AzBilliards to mainly focus on local Arizona pool, that didn't last long.

Jerry Forsyth
Jerry Forsyth began his billiards journalism with the Texas Billiard News in the 1980's. This became The American Cueist and Forsyth wrote tournament coverage and instruction articles for them after he became a certified BCA instructor. In the 90's he moved to Pool & Billiard magazine as their Tournament Editor and photographer. In 1998 he began competing on the Mizerak Senior Tour and began doing commentary for British Sky Broadcasting at the Mosconi Cup. He has continued with the Mosconi Cup commentary as well as the commentary for the World Pool Championship to this day. He is currently a partner with Mike Howerton in the AZBilliards family of websites and lives with his wife (Fran) of forty years on a small farm in the backwoods of Georgia where they raise vegetables which they donate to food banks in the area. In the past five years they have given away more than five tons of corn, tomatoes, green beans, canteloupe, bell peppers, lettuce, and spinach as well as blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and many assorted herbs.

Melinda
Melinda has been around her "passion" (pool) for more than 20 years and partnered with AZB in 1999 to help promote the sport of pool for the avid fans and players. Melinda designs and maintains several pool-related websites as a partner of AZB. She also runs the OB Cues Ladies 9-Ball Tour, as well as has been playing pool across the country in local, regional and national events for over 15 years. Melinda is a photographer at tournaments and also provides bracket updates for billiard fans. Her passion is to promote pool and provide an atmosphere where people can achieve their dreams.
