    Tracie Hines
Tracie Hines last woman standing at Spirit Tour Season Finale

The Ladies Spirit Tour season finale at Capones in Spring Hill, Florida came to a conclusion on Sunday evening and it was not the conclusion that most fans would have expected.

The day began with Yu Ram Cha's run on the winners side being brought to an end by Helena Thornfeldt and Tracie Hines sending Michell Monk to the one loss side.

Meanwhile, Diana Minor and Emily Wilmoth settled for 7th/8th finishes after losses to Monica Webb and Debbie Schjodt.

Finishing in 5th and 6th were Monk and Cha. As the top finishing amateur player, Monk earned the WPBA qualifier for the 2nd event of the 2009 season.

The final four players were all WPBA touring pros and WPBA #10 ranked Monica Webb quickly dispatched #34 ranked Debbie Schjodt 7-3 to leave Schjodt in 4th place.

On the winners side, unranked Tracie Hines handed #11 ranked Helena Thornfeldt a 7-4 loss to send Thornfeldt to the one loss side.

Webb quickly ended Thornfeldt's day in the tournament with a 7-2 score, leaving Webb and Hines playing in the true double elimination finals.

The finals would not take two sets though, as Hines defended the hot-seat and scored a 7-4 win over Webb to take first place in the event.

Hines earned $600 for first place, while Webb took home $420 for second. As has become tradition at Spirit Tour Season Finales, all players ended up in the cash and made back more than their entry fee.
