    Ching-Shun Yang
    Ching-Shun Yang wins Guiness Finale

Ching Shun Yang bettered his runner up finish in the last tour Guinness Tour finale with a hard fought win in Jakarta.

The Guinness 9-Ball Tour came to a spectacular end in Jakarta with an all-Taiwanese final pitting the wits of 2005 9-Ball World Champion, Chia-Ching Wu, against one of the Tour's most decorated players.

The cue master from Chinese-Taipei outwitted and outplayed his close friend and compatriot, Wu 11-9 in an exciting match at the Taman Enggrek Mall.

Wu defeated Alex Pagulayan of the Philippines, 9-6 in the first semifinal to earn his place in the finals while the newly crowned Grand Champion knocked out WPA World No.1 ranked player, Dennis Orcollo to reach his first final of this year's Tour.

Yang started the final in a tentative mood while Wu had a superb start but things started turning around with Yang coming back after the break to push the game to a nerve-wrecking score line of 9-10.

The last rack saw both players throwing everything they had into the game but Yang's calm demeanor saw him send the 9-ball down to win his first trophy of the year and also the prestigious title of Guinness 9-Ball 2008 Grand Champion.
